Hi, I'm Melinda DiGiacomo — the face (and the microphone) behind Sprout & Shout. By day I'm a teacher; by night I'm hauling a milk crate of houseplants into your favorite brewery and hollering numbers into a karaoke mic. I started this as a way to bring in a little extra income without missing bedtime stories — something fun enough that it never feels like a second job.
I started Sprout & Shout looking for a fun way to bring in some extra income for my family — and realized I could build it around something I already love. I'm unapologetically plant-obsessed, and I wanted a way to share that with other people while everyone has a good time. My hope is that you leave with more than a plant: a fun night out, good food and drinks, and maybe a new friend at the next table — the plant's just the cherry on top.

We hand out cards and daubers at the door. No app, no experience needed — just ears and a little luck.

Not "bingo" — around here, a full row earns a shout of "Sprout!" from wherever you're sitting.

Shout "Sprout!" on a winning round and claim a big plant on the spot. Didn't win? Everyone still takes home a smaller plant at the end of the night.
